For me, it is a meaningful step forward, small as it is, in the long journey toward the final success in my life, because I have truly gained by participating.

You my have noticed that the usual worldly criteria of wealth, position and fame were not mentioned as part of the story, but rather, it emphasized the process of overcoming difficulties. My suggestion is: Tell them we want them to trust us as much as we’d like to trust them. If you don’t think you can talk to them, write them a letter and leave it lying around—they are bound to read it.

As far as I’m concerned, I do not quite agree with the two kinds of opinions mentioned above. So maybe we’d better be braver to pursue it in spite of the sorrows that might happen to us.

Those who abandon their study in sake of love are rather idlers than idealists!
